The Center for Landscape Water Conservation is a project of the Urban Landscape Water Conservation Coordinating Committee (ULWCCC), whose mission is to develop water-wise landscape education and water management tools to serve the people of the Southwest US.
The ULWCCC is a cooperative venture among NMSU, Texas AgriLife Extension at El Paso, UNM, UTEP, San Juan College, NM Office of the State Engineer, municipal water conservation coordinators, and private landscapers and the business community. The ULWCCC was formed by NMSU with the goal of coordinating applied research projects, and demonstration and outreach activities focused on water-wise landscaping in the Southwest.
